What is the artwork about?

Contextualization of the project (Objectives, participating countries, exploring the notion of country, exploring the location and flags of different countries).

Why was it designed in this way?

To explore the theme of multiculturalism through a fun and stimulating activity for children – The Memory Game. In this classroom there are many children whose nationality, or the nationality of their parent,) is not Portuguese, which makes the theme of multiculturalism very relevant and close to the children.

Why did the class choose this artwork?

Because it was a lot of fun to design the game, exploring the colours of the flags, and being able to play and have fun with something made by us!

Collaboratively.

Contextualização do projeto (Objetivos, países participantes, explorar a noção de país, explorar a localização e as bandeiras dos diferentes países).

Porque foi criado deste modo?

Para explorar o tema da multiculturalidade através de uma atividade divertida e estimulante para as crianças – O Jogo da Memória. Nesta sala existem muitas crianças cuja nacionalidade, ou a nacionalidade dos pais, não é portuguesa, o que torna o tema da multiculturalidade muito pertinente e próximo das crianças.

Porque foi este o artefacto escolhido pela turma?

Porque foi muito divertido elaborar o jogo, explorando as cores das bandeiras, e poder jogar e divertirmo-nos com algo feito por nós!
