What is the artwork about?
The artefact is about the story of a Syrian refugee, a woman in her thirties, who essentially escapes the cultural impositions due to her gender.
Why was it designed in this way?
We chose this moment in history to illustrate, given that it is the decisive moment, the departure for a new beginning of life, more free and in line with human rights, namely the rights of gender equality.
Why did the class choose this artwork?
It was chosen for the virtual gallery for its graphic quality, for the topicality of the theme it portrays, and for the manifestation of the group’s preference for it.
