Boy mouse:
THOUGHTS: That you can do whatever you want.
STATEMENTS: I know that ballet is for girls but I’ll continue with what I love.
FEELINGS: Happiness, peacefulness.

Dad mouse:
FEELINGS: Sadness, frustration.
STATEMENTS: That he doesn’t do boy stuff.
THOUGHTS: The Dad’s thought is that his son is dancing ballet and not boxing.

Why was it designed in this way?

A mix of feelings and opinion stating.

Why did the class choose this artwork?

The group chose this artefact in order to stress the importance of the topic – the other, and in order to try advancing it in the whole world since there is a global lack of tolerance for accepting the different. In a world where we are different one from the other, whether you see it or not, but rather feel it, one must be sensitive to the other and accept the other’s opinion, belief, thoughts. One must take a different perspective.
