Work Package 2

Analysis and selection of cultural texts

May 2018 – January 2019

WP2 recognises cultural diversity as one of Europe’s most valuable assets and will identify a set of Cultural Texts to support how young people make sense of Europe and its differing cultures. Its objectives are, therefore to:

  • analyse the current European and national education policies that seek to enhance intercultural dialogue in order to map the core concepts and their interrelations and uses and to identify the weaknesses of these policies that can be tackled through the CLLP (see WP3).
  • develop a framework through which to analyse Cultural Texts as reflecting the core values and concepts of intercultural dialogue and the CLLP.
  • collect a set of Cultural Texts that reflect diversity of European cultural heritages and identities and the core values and concepts that the CLLP seeks to enhance.
