Policy Brief 2: Promoting Cultural Literacy in Schools
This second DIALLS policy briefing is aimed at those that make decisions on what programmes and initiatives are implemented in individual schools and aims to show the benefits of running a Cultural Literacy Learning Programme (CLLP) to promote cultural literacy, as defined by DIALLS, across all age groups. It is based on our experiences of running the Cultural Literacy Learning Programme (CLLP) in seven countries between September 2019 and March 2020 (when the programme stopped prematurely due to COVID-19 lockdown) and draws upon both qualitative and quantitative findings.
