DIALLS Lehrkräfte schätzen das Projekt – auch unter erschwerten Bedingungen

Die letzte Phase des DIALLS Projekts fiel mitten in einen langen Lockdown, der besonders für Schulen von großen Umstellungen geprägt war. Doch auch in diesen unruhigen Zeiten haben sich unsere teilnehmenden Lehrkräfte positiv über das Projekt geäußert:

Tatsächlich waren die letzten Monate alles andere als normal und sicherlich ist Vieles hintenübergefallen. Doch ich habe glücklicherweise vor den Weihnachtsferien einige DIALLS Stunden durchführen können. Ich finde das DIALLS Projekt sehr gelungen und ich konnte für mich viele Anregungen mitnehmen.

Seit Mitte Dezember kann ich leider pandemiebedingt keinen Unterricht mehr erteilen. Vorher konnte ich jedoch in einer jahrgangsgemischten 1./2. Klasse vier DIALLS Filme zeigen und auch Artefakte dazu erstellen. Ich hoffe, dass ich bald wieder Gelegenheit haben werde, mit dem Programm zu arbeiten und die dialogischen und interkulturellen Kompetenzen meiner Schüler*innen weiter zu fördern.

Ich konnte etwas mit DIALLS arbeiten und bin sehr begeistert. Leider hatte ich nur ca. 6-8 Stunden, aber diese Stunden waren sehr erfolgreich. Ich möchte auch weiterhin mit DIALLS arbeiten. Mit zwei Klassen habe ich ein Plakat erstellt und wunderschöne Gespräche führen können. Die Filme waren anregend, lustig und es gab viel zu entdecken. Als Impuls wunderbar zu verwenden!

Während Corona habe ich manche Gruppen gar nicht, und in anderen Klassen habe ich die ganze Klasse.
Für solche Fälle habe ich die Anweisung, auf keinen Fall humanistisch-weltanschaulichen Unterricht zu halten. Dafür ist DIALLS toll, denn da ist für alle etwas dabei. Deswegen ist es für mich hilfreich, genau jetzt DIALLS zu unterrichten.

In der Altersgruppe für 4-7 Jahre (1./2. Klasse) habe ich nur die ersten 4 Filme zeigen können, danach war die Schule pandemiebedingt geschlossen. Zu jedem Film habe ich aber mehrere Stunden gearbeitet. In den Diskussionen zum Film fiel es den Kindern auch noch schwer, sich aufeinander zu beziehen und ihre Meinung zu begründen. Ich denke, das erfordert sehr viel Zeit und Übung.

The last phase of the DIALLS project fell in the middle of a long lockdown, characterised by major changes, especially for schools. But even during these troubled times, our participating teachers have been positive about the project. Here’s one teacher’s account from Germany.

In fact, the last few months have been anything but normal and certainly a lot has fallen behind. But luckily, I was able to do some DIALLS lessons before the Christmas holidays. I think the DIALLS project was very successful, and I was able to take away a lot of ideas for myself.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to teach since mid-December due to the pandemic. Before that, however, I was able to show four DIALLS films in a mixed 1st/2nd grade class and also create artefacts. I hope to have the opportunity to work with the programme again soon and to further develop the dialogical and intercultural competences of my students.

I was able to do some work with DIALLS and I am very happy with it. Unfortunately, I only had about 6-8 lessons, but these lessons were very successful. I would like to continue working with DIALLS. With two classes I was able to create a poster and have wonderful conversations. The films were stimulating, funny and there was a lot to discover. Wonderful to use as an impulse!

During Corona I don’t have some groups at all, and in other classes I have the whole class. For such cases, I have the instruction not to hold humanistic-worldview lessons under any circumstances. DIALLS is great for that, because there is something for everyone. That’s why it’s helpful for me to teach DIALLS right now.

In the age group for 4-7 years (1st/2nd grade) I was only able to show the first four films, after that the school was closed due to the pandemic. However, I worked for several hours on each film. In the discussions about the film, the children also found it difficult to relate to each other and to justify their opinions. I think this requires a lot of time and practice.
