What is the artwork about?

Each group made a drawing about their favorite page. The artefact represents the theme of inclusion, friendship. “Even different we can all be together! It’s even more fun!”

Why was it designed in this way?

Why did the class choose this artwork?

The choice was made based on the interest that the theme (inclusion, friendship …) aroused in the group and because it was one of the books that the group liked the most. There are children of various nationalities in the room and a child with SEN, so inclusion is a topic widely addressed in the group. There was another reason that led to this choice of this artefact: three pages of the book were chosen; Given the need to choose only one, the final decision was taken in a group vote and the way the election was made made the teacher very proud: everyone voted, justified their choice and everyone accepted the decision made and justified by the majority , revealing a true spirit of respect and citizenship.

Porque foi este o artefacto escolhido pela turma?

A escolha foi feita com base no interesse que o tema (inclusão, amizade…) suscitou no grupo e porque foi um dos livros que o grupo mais gostou. Existem crianças de várias nacionalidades na sala e uma criança com NEE, pelo que a inclusão é um assunto bastante abordado no grupo. A história veio, assim, ao encontro das suas vivências. Houve ainda outro motivo que levou a esta escolha deste artefacto: foram escolhidas três páginas do livro; Perante a necessidade de escolher apenas uma, a decisão final foi tomada em votação de grupo e o modo como foi feita a eleição deixou a professora muito orgulhosa: todos votaram, justificaram a sua escolha e todos aceitaram a decisão tomada e justificada pela maioria, revelando um verdadeiro espírito de respeito e cidadania.
