Four DIALLS researchers from University of Jyväskylä in Finland — Dr Tuuli Lähdesmäki, Dr Aino-Kaisa Koistinen, Dr Susanne C. Ylönen, and Dr Katja Mäkinen — summarise their work to analyse the « cultural artefacts » children have produced as part of the Cultural Literacy Learning Program. « Cultural artefact » is our term for the artworks children create after their lessons and classroom discussions on cultural literacy themes. In this video, the JYU researchers offer a brief sample analysis of a cultural artefact from Cyprus, in which the artists have represented their understanding of the concept of « home ».
