What is the artwork about?
We all represented our own understanding of ‘home’ and joined them together to make a collection of happy, safe spaces.
Why was it designed in this way?
Everyone had their own understanding of what home meant to them so the design allowed us to represent these many safe happy homes, whilst making one collaborative piece which represented what home means to us as a class.
Why did the class choose this artwork?
They felt the puzzle piece design helped create a piece that they had all contributed to equally but that produced one large piece of art. They liked the collaborative nature of creating the ‘whole’.

Every student in the group contributed equally.
