Respect

Inspired by: Owl Bat, Bat Owl

Age Range: 4-7 years

Country: United Kingdom

Key Themes: Tolerance

Here’s what the students say about the artefact they created:

What is the artwork about?

How we can show respect to everyone even if they are different.

Why was it designed in this way?

It was a choice of the most important image to them from the story. Many chose the page where the bats and owls were living happily together after the storm as they felt this is how it should be.

Why did the class choose this artwork?

They all thought it was very important that we share like the bat and owl shared at the end of the story. They thought it was important to show respect to each other even if we look different.

Was it created collaboratively or by one student?

Individual art.
