Papa’s Boy Feelings

Inspired by: Papa’s Boy

Age Range: 8-11 years

Country: United Kingdom

Key Themes: Inclusion, Living Together, Equality

Here’s what the students say about the artefact they created:

What is the artwork about?

How the feelings of the father and child change throughout the film.

Why was it designed in this way?

The children were asked to complete a comic strip. This child chose to record their work using ideas from our behaviour/PSHE/Philosophy schemes where the children have 4 different coloured “Zones” which explain their feelings. This work was completed at a time when we were using these zones a lot in class to discuss ideas and feelings.

Why did the class choose this artwork?

I chose this one as a representation of the work from the class due to lockdown restrictions.

Was it created collaboratively or by one student?

One student.
