Country: Israel

Cultural Themes:

Here’s what the students say about the artefact they created:

What is the artwork about?

This artefact describes how a boy teaches his father a new game.

Why was it designed in this way?

In the artefact the father is represented by the big palm, and the boy by the little palm with the drawing of the “noughts and crosses” game the boy teaches the father.

Why did the class choose this artwork?

The children thought it is both nice and funny that a child teaches his father a game. They thought of games that also teach their parents and talked about the fact that not only a child learns from his/her parents, but parents can also learn from the children.

Was it created collaboratively or by one student?

Individual artefact.
